The annual Arbor Day Special Sale took place from April 1 to 3 in front of the Ewha Coop shop, located in the Student Union Building. The Arbor Day Special Sale started in 2000 and was hosted annually. This year, Ewha Cooperative added plants suitable to be raised indoors that are known to purify air. Due to high participation of Ewha students the last day of the sale had ended early, which was at two, three hours quicker than scheduled. The sale was organized by Ewha University Cooperative (COOP).
